What can tallow be used for?

Face & body moisturizer, after sun, pregnancy belly, diaper rash cream, scar cream, scabs, cuts, irritation from chaffing, stretch marks, cradle cap, cold sores, hyperpigmentation, foot fungus, cracked dry heels, makeup primer/remover, shave lotion, beard cream, bug repellant, acne, eczema, rashes, tattoos, dry end hair oil, leather polish, and much more. 

Does tallow replace my current skincare?

Because of its multifunctional use, it may replace a lot of items you are already purchasing. A few are body lotion, face moisturizer, baby rash cream, baby lotion, makeup remover, after sun care etc.

What are the benefits and how does it work?

Tallows structure mimics our own skin. Which is made of sebum and lipids. The skin sees it, and absorbs it as its own. It closely resembles our own sebaceous and lipid cellular structures.

Tallow is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant (fighting free radical damage), antimicrobial properties, has vitamins A,D,E & K, omega 3 & omega 6 Fatty Acids. It mimics skins natural oils with immediate availability to skin, Repairs and restores skins elasticity, vitamins can help produce collagen, soothe skin injuries & repair damage.

Does tallow make you feel greasy?

Tallow is made from fat so you will feel a difference from your regular moisturizers. You only need a tiny dab that will give your skin a hydrated feel. A little goes a long way.

What happens if my tallow melts?

You’ll want to keep it in a cool dry place. If it melts completely, you can re-whip in a mixer. If partially melted, you can microwave until it’s melted and re-whip.

 Does tallow have an expiration?

It will typically last 6-9+ months.
